I feel like age gaps are always iffy. This one was kind of better because they technically met for the first time when they were similar ages. They didn’t use so many flashbacks of him as a child, so I thought it wouldn’t be that bad, but then the last chapter shows this old man falling in love with a child. Everything is borderline grooming and pedophilia these days and it’s pissing me off.
No it wasn't the last scene were about him expressing how his life wasn't dark anymore and that the child brought life and meaning to him there was no romantic or sexual notation in that and even when the elder duke told the younger duke to find the child it was for happiness
