I've read a good amount of yaoi with shixty characters but this is the first time I've seen a character who is an absolute sexual deviant on top of being a total yandere psycho. Jinx's Jeakyung has started to look adorable lol

I think because it's a long form story, the king's craziness is blooming with every chapter lol the creepy expressions, dialogues, and acts are actully quite scary. The author has done a great job with the expressions. Even though the king is not ugly, the expressions make him look so creepy that one can't overlook the shixty things he's doing with the MC even for a moment.

Ngl though, those scenes are a bit too graphic and too many for me but I'm still morbidly curious about how the story will go on.

I re-read this manga after many years. Last time I thought Fukuse was too fcked up but only now did I realize Riku is equally scary lol He knew everything right from the beginning but didn't do anything but only blurted out when he got pissed. I got a new insight on why bystanders are sometimes as hated as the perpetrators.

I didn't understand what he was jealous about though?

Tl;dr: The past between the characters looks very tame if you've been reading east Asian works for a long time and/or you can dissociate a fictional story from real life situation.

Longer version:

I have been reading mangas for many many years and I have read several mangas with similar themes to this one. It never occurred to me that this might be problematic. I think it's very tame compared to some other prominent older works (eg. Hana to Akuma, Usagi Drop). Am I too old or the people in the comments too young? Lol

It's interesting how people read stories today. Until a few years ago I didn't see so many people complaining about potential crimes in a fictional story. (eg. BJ Alex was very well received when it first came out but I see people pointing out the problematic parts in the story now.)

I am into true crime so I am familiar with things like grooming though in my country it's not discussed often. Not that it doesn't happen but it's not something people would immediately think of when they see a fictional character in a fantasy setting taking care of a dragon in a human form only to end up with the said dragon human in the future. (it's better than taking in a baby, raising them and eventually marrying and having kids with them because you're an immortal vampire and age is just a number lol).

I think it's also cultural. There are so many Chinese, Japanese and Korean stories with similar themes in a fantasy story and they keep increasing in number. (All the shizuns would be labelled predators irl lol) Probably because the readers of the native work don't find it as problematic as the international audience since if the authors saw the complaints they'd probably change the way they write the stories (over time works like Hidoku shinaide, Dakaretai Otoko have shifted from the initial "I assault you because I like you" to more acceptable relationship between the characters and I think more wholesome stories like Sasaki to Miyano are becoming popular. Even in Chinese danmei, most popular stories now don't start with an assault at least. Can't say the same about "grooming" though).

I don't think people who think of the development between the characters in this story as grooming are absolutely wrong. But I do wonder what is the demographic that think of it this way. Is it the people who have recently started reading BL and/or are also very young (under 18) or people who have become too sick of this kind of development over the years XD

Did Yeonwoo hire a thug to purposely get robbed just to see if Keith really cares about him but it kinda backfired? O.o

Also, I think they reuploaded ch 30 but it's missing the part after Yeonwoo bites himself where he finds out he's pregnant :3

When I read it a few years ago I was sooooo curious about the last volume that I ended up buying all of the volumes in Japanese and it was unpleasantly expensive.

However, this one has no regrets XD

For those who are curious about the raws

Seme : A pedophile who hates every women except his mother and the entire Japanese population. Has a number of "lovers" who are below the age 10 and were abandoned by their parents. Apparently all of them are mute and the seme engages in sexual activities with them.

Uke : A 20 year old with a body of a 10 year old and acts like a 3 year old. Works as a gay host. Gets the job of entertaining the Seme. The seme is angry when he comes to know he is 20 but the fundoshi he was wearing makes the seme want to meet him again.

The Butler : Pretty much supports the seme in everything he does. Including asking for a 10 year old at the gay host service because he knows his master's "preferences".

The translated chapter appears towards the end of the raws and has no relevance to the main story or at least that's what I think.

If you remove the part where the seme engages with actual 10 years old and ignore the uke looking like a 10 year old the story is pretty cliché and okay, even. (The seme tries to force the uke but is stopped by the butler and he kinda himself stops when the uke says "no")

The art was quite good though. But somehow the author decided to make the story disgusting -________-

Is that Hiroshi from Crayon Shinchan in the first panel and Nobita's teacher in Doraemon in the last panel? XD
