The older brother is a moron. Instead of telling the younger brother whole truth he keeps his mouth shut which causes the resentment and misunderstandings. He seriously needs to work on his communication skills. So frustrating.

The guy with the child is a husband of Nick's work colleague. The husband was in a bakery buying bread, croissant, coffee... during that time Nick was playing with the baby and talking to the guy.
