SUDDENLY all these comments about how Elysee is the real victim. lol. lmfao. Are we forgetting she's committed multiple murders? She is not a good person, at all. She's cruel unprovoked, selfish beyond reason, a total narcissist who doesn't care for anything other than her status and image and is literally willing to kill innocent people for that end.
The reason we root for the wives over the mistresses in other stories isn't because marriage is special or anything, it's just because those specific wives were good people while the mistress wasn't. The opposite is true here. Sally is kind sincerely, she cares about the people around her and puts effort into making them happy, for their own sake, not just to boost her image. She's a good person who got dealt a bad hand in life and still turned out to be benevolent, even to people she doesn't like and who are outright hostile to her (such as Lily).
So I respect her far more than that sorry excuse for a "wife" that's more like a jailer. You lose the right to having the "sanctity" of your marriage respected when you've achieved this marriage by violating your husband's human rights. Fuck all the abusive husbands throughout history who traded women like cattle and trapped their wives in marriage against their will, and fuck Elysee right along with them.
