I think they're trying to get people to support the author. The main reason why people go on here is to read manga for free, but in this case you can read the story for free and support the author(s) on Webtoon. That would be the most decient thing to do :/

For everyone wondering about the author and why the characters look that much like Kpop idols! she said in her behind the scenes webtoon that the characters are visually, modeled after real life Kpop idols, the personalities and backstories are different! She is okay with us referring the characters with the idols but to keep it on English webtoon, she says that it’s more if the webtoon is becoming a live action (a movie, show) than she wants those Kpop idols to play the characters and I personally take it like fan comic, there are artist who post about bts on webtoon and Twitter too so I don’t think it’s a problem, about the faking and stuff, she apologized since 2017 to this day! She refunded all the money and opened a facebook group for the refund! She really hated her father back then and had insecurities, she didn’t hate javanese people, she hated the blood of her father back then (her father is javanese) she is Javanese, Malay and slightly Chinese. I skipped some chapters by it kinda got boring bc the prince was mad at yuer, in the middle yuer got mad at the prince since his mother died (if I understood it correctly) and at the and they both are having a kid (I don’t know how that happened) in the last chapter (ch 247) they were talking about the belly, I was so shocked bc wtf is he turning into a woman? And in the final chapter the prince had to leave shen yu bc he was needed in a battle or stuff (he is a warrior after all) and yuer was like “I’m gonna wait for you” bc he can’t go with Xuan Xiao since he is pregnant and idk it made me mad but it is also my fault for skipping so much text, u can read it online if you want to but I hope the translation is false, I don’t like that ending. (⊙…⊙ )
