Guys, wouldn't it be so funny if she really never went back to the dragon, and we followed her life just trying to get good honest work? Or like, if it turns into a drama and the mages wife finds out he was trying to cheat on her with the MC and they both hatch a plan to steal half his money? Or maybe, my most favorite, the mansion/family is fake and actually an illusion, and she busts out with shear grit and determination and beats the crap out of the mage with her bear fists?
