Stopped at ch9 to sneak a peak at the comments cuz surely the ml is the younger brother and not the grapist. Only to find out he's the endgame tf? And I'm usually receptive to red flag or black flag stories given the context (e.g. mafia, mindbreak).

This had so much potential to be much more in depth and interesting if it revolved around overcoming abuse?? Now it's just tasteless sa in a bland environment — like they are super normal characters, no reasonable reason to succumb to such abuse or resort to abuse.

At ch14 this story pmo. They've fucked twice but there's zero chemistry and no one seems to have a personality around here.

lmao their lips in the last panel is extra super duper lusciously glossy

Y'all the mc ain't a pedo. In ch 5 it's mentioned the seme is only a year younger than the mc. Let's move on to the most pressing concern here:

BRO GRABBED THE NASTY ASS TOILET SEAT WITH HIS BARE HANDS NAH THAT'S WHERE I DRAW THE LINE!!! N THEN PROCEEDED TO TOUCH EACHOTHER NAURRRR!!!!

Is it just me or was the plot kind of underwhelming... It kept having pretty big build ups but it left me feeling oh is that it? Don't get me wrong, I did love reading it and I like how we're consistently reassured as readers that it'll have a happy ending lol.
Like for e.g. Leticia's mum's ending — didn't feel really victorious about that. Callisto figuring out how to negate the curse — underwhelming. Side characters are also pretty much kicked to the curb after their little backstory and character arc (e.g. Barnes, Callisto) — little to no impact after half the story. Even Ditrian lost relevance after one third of the story ngl... like I didn't give a shit about him until Leticia's pregnancy again.
That being said, I really loved how even the side characters were all super fleshed out! Callisto and his sister were my faves definitely. But my favourite darling had to be Julius — bro walked so the plot could run! Can't blame Sigmund because I GET why he's obsessed with him.
All in all, pretty cozy comfortable story, though plot progression is a bit odd.

Highly recommended to read the novel — it's only two volumes but they're filled with so much more detail and An Zhe's thoughts. The plot is honestly so worth it, this isn't your typical BL — the world building and the depth of every character made me cry buckets. So do support the author by purchasing her epubs! They're super cheap tbh you can google to buy :))

hii can anyone send the novel link please

is it just me who thinks ml is acoustic and doesn't realise he is in love with the mc even though he clearly is? he reminds me of the top in Rivalry — who also couldn't convey his feelings across properly and had a hard time understanding the complexities of human nuance. the ml here is already shown to have been attached to the mc and according to his childhood memories he read a lot to make up for his difficulty in getting along with people normal — so i assume he gets into these relationships with girls to keep up the societal norm but ultimately and unknowingly is in love with the mc.

but that's just the benefit of doubt he could just be a red flag but it's entertaining so i'll let it pass, it's a great slow burn.

third time rereading and i still love it. the vibes the author instils in her work is consistent and i love hyung do's character — his naivety, diligence and honesty. lee gyung is pretty insane but it's ok cuz it's fiction lol, if this was irl i'd be calling the cops... but the two's pairing feels so right when they're so patient w e/o and the story itself is pretty therapeutic for me at least. there's just the right amount of angst, and i do love red flags!
