Gonna add my two cents—not that anyone asked—but just drop it. There's no real consequence for anyone's awful actions, except for characters the author clearly dislikes (like Claudine). I read the webnovel out of curiosity and wow. The ending rushes to force a "happy" resolution, turning a girl’s loss of independence into romance. She even runs back to her captor because the outside world is scary. It's framed as love. Don’t bother—read Winter Woods instead. It’s actually good.
