But also Siwoo, is no contact with his parents and similar to Hyesung. Is Byul going to make him talk to his parents too and claim he knows better too? It's so wild because I feel like it sets up their relationship for drama. I was hoping Byul would learn from Hyesung's situation and apply it to Siwoo's because if he only gives Siwoo empathy he's a hypocrite. But I'm also scared he's going to follow his father's footsteps and force Siwoo to have a relationship with his parents like Dojin has done with Hyesung
I mean Byul is freaking young and he doesn’t understand how his mom’s situation and his grandma’s situation are two different issues. I knew we were gonna get here any moment but I didn’t think it would be so soon, I honestly feel for Hyesung because that has to be the biggest betrayal more so on his husband Dojin. I mean I can forgive Byul because he’s just a child and he may not understand the full extent of things but Dojin? Oh man he got my blood boiling!!
Hyesung’s had a choice and what did she choose? She choose to leave her child with her abusive alpha trash of a husband, that emotionally, mentally and physically abused her son the same way he did her. Not once has she ever thought of going to get her son and get him out of the situation but instead decided to start her life afresh and start a new family completely. Who fucken does that? Trash of a human!! I’m sorry I still stand by what I previously said, nothing and I mean nothing will make me ever sympathize with that women! NOTHING.
Hyesung on the other hand? He was just a traumatized kid that was thrown into a whole new different world. Imagine being so traumatized and you grow up thinking you’re an alpha but one night you finally get your diary heat as an omega and you end up being taken advantage by an alpha and end up being pregnant?! You can just imagine all the mental gymnastics he has to go through, I definitely sympathize with him 100%. It’s not like he never loved his child, he did but he didn’t know how to process everything or if he could even love his child and give him what he needed and also considering that Dojin was a chaebol, he just thought his family was never gonna want him in the picture and would do anything not to have him in his child’s life.
I mean I could go on and on about this but I’ll stop here but yes, Hyesung was not perfect but he was young and had no guidance, or ever knew what love is so he didn’t know how he could care for his child but his mother? She can go and choke on a chicken bone for all I care.

Considering he said he had terminal illness 40yrs ago, I feel like he came to Korea for his bucket list, met Hyeonji and had a short relationship/ONS, when they went back home for further treatment. Knowing American healthcare system, he was probably working his butt off since then to pay off his medical debts and make enough money to travel back to Korea to meet her.

He’s so cute, I see nothing wrong with him spoiling his kid but you can tell he also has boundaries with how freely Byul communicates things. He knows and trusts his kid because he knows they didn’t raise him to do bad things or behave badly.
