I don't know why everybody is dropping this left and right, like it's quite obvious that this story was going to be horrifying from the start. Also it's only actually starting NOW, we don't know much about anyone, if they're lying or if they're not, we don't know if our MC is an absolute psycho, there's a lot of questions to be explored too. The town could all be lying and they're up to something fishy, or Guwon is gonna have a really deep secret that's like a big plot twist or something. So I don't know why everyone is jumping to conclusion and dropping it when A. The premise of the story was already very dark so what's so bad about it now? and B. There's really too much mystery to jump to conclusion right now so let's at least stick around for a while more? ┗( T﹏T )┛
I really want to forgive the mom and all (and I have I just still don't really like her) but like everytime something (traumatic) happens to Lyrica she's nowhere to be seen comforting her? Like yes she has done a lot for Lyrica's comfort and safety behind the scenes, and has express how regretful and sorry she is, but I don't really ever see her making an effort to bond more with Lyrica emotionally, comforting her, spending time with her, heck after Lyrica just almost died, I don't see her spending more time or comforting her and instead we see her getting comforted instead? Like ofc she should be comforted bcuz her lovely daughter almost died and that's traumatic in itself but I don't like how they used that moment to solidify and rub the romance between her and the emporer in our face? We don't need that (well at least I don't), what we need is more moments between mother and daughter. It's almost as if bcuz lyrica is so understanding and kind, she doesn't make more of an effort bcuz she knows Lyrica doesn't really need it as much, but honestly I think Lyrica really misses her mom and would like more bonding time with her ( yes ik this story is about Lyrica so the mother isn't shown as much but at least give them some more screen time together instead of her and the damn emporer cuz it's getting hella cheesy). Heck even in those shitty abandoned princess stories the dads make effort and actually spend time with their daughter more than her, even tho I won't forgive them bcuz even if they care now they wouldn't have cared if the MC didn't change herself (which is stupid).
The 2nd couple made me cringe tf out omg (especially the bottom oml). Like my guy, way to say ur insecure. The relationship feels kinda shallow too? Idk, it felt a lot more physical then emotional?
Compared to that the 1st couple had a lot more depth. (Obvi cuz they had more chapters)

Meanwhile trying to destroy a happy relationship and that would make him sad (and saying that she didn't know it was wrong, like what is actually wrong with you???) and then proceeded to say she won't support them even though she said he'd be lonely and she wanted to help that??? If you are trying to help in the first place so he'd not be alone, maybe after realizing what you did is wrong, support him? Just because he's not normal you're ostracizing them now, and you said you didn't want him to be alone and sad, YOU'RE LITERALLY DOING THE EXACT OPPOSITE THING YOU WANTED TO DO (WHICH IS NOT SUPPORTING HIM AND THEREFORE MAKING HIM ALONE!!!???!??) I read the newest side chapters in the raws and after Jooha fell in the water they got out immediately(so yay they didn't die). He re gained his memory in the water and dooshik saving him is really symbolic in the sense that their first true meeting was him saving dooshik in the water ┗( T﹏T )┛
Y'all r going to be disappointed if you want Chung Myung to beat his ass. And anyways tang zaddy is not a bad person at all give him a chance y'all, he's a person of authoritative power and someone in his territory stepped out of line, he should put back the order if he doesn't want a rebellion to happen, political-wise. Though I do understand the annoyance towards him in the beginning.
I just want somebody in the story to acknowledge it was the cousin's fault that he went out in the first place or maybe give her a beating because what she said was outright horrible. Like you just don't joke about that when you don't know anything about the relationship, her saying that to our MC could have cause so much more misunderstanding with the fact that he's super insecure and just unstable. Like maybe someone beat her in the head once please because I don't like her.
BRUHHH IM CRYINGGGG. This dialogue was actually a lot sadder in the novel. A lot of Chung myung's feeling in the novel is discussed more deeply, like sometimes when I read his feelings about his old sect and tang bo (Tang clan) I just know bro is super depressed . Like bro actually needs some serious therapy.
