Still crazy he said NOTHING before he left, could have sent smth while he was in the States before the surgery or left smth not even to say where he was going but what was going on. I can't really judge the actions of someone in that position because heck idk what I'd do with three months left to live, but I'd hope I wouldn't abandon my family and leave them thinking I left for selfish reasons like cmon man I do wonder if maybe the forgetfulness and stuff of that nature also impacted the decision a bit like he couldn't remember the address to send a letter, but then I think they would have mentioned smth to that effect if it was the case. I could've let it go if he wasn't like "I don't regret it" WHAT?? How do you not regret letting her die thinking you abandoned her and her unborn child, knowing she went about raising him alone for years?? I get the 40 years of recovery and not wanting her to see that but the fact he stands behind not telling her anything at all is pretty crazy ngl
