I think the reason why many people are more angry with Shizuma is because he got a third party involved in his and Minato relationship meanwhile Minato is just insecure, jealous, and not opening up to Shizuma. They are both wrong in their own way but people can relate more to Minato with being the one who have to witness his partner being chummy with someone else. Especially with them working together and shared similar interest. In the past, Shizuma also doesn’t like Minato hanging around those two people and Minato stop hanging around them. It all comes down to boundaries.
