At first, I thought I got the gist of the story, but now that I think about it I might be plain stupid or idk... I'm still at chap 13 and hasn't gone to 40+ chaps, and I got curious, so I tried skipping to 55 chap and chap 60, and boy was I confused as hell.

I would pretty much given up. I mean, there's really nothing wrong of fighting your love, especially, if the feelings are mutual. But in this case, even if the feelings are the same, if Gyeom could easily get swayed by Kijun's puppy eyes (cause he's a drama king) then I don't really think a relationship would even work. What's the point even??
And besides, Gyeom said "it's complicated", he meant that the relationship he has between the twins, but when you look at it, he's actually the one who's being complicated (as well). What his friend said was right... if it's really that hard, then he could just cut it off... if he truly likes Kihyun, then end things with Kijun for good. Better yet, just cut both of them off for good, because the more he stays with them, the more he could only hurt Kihyun or Kijun and even himself.
I gotta say, Gyeom is not the first naive, and submissive uke I've ever seen in my 8 years of being a fujoshi. He's just one of the few I swear, I almost want to put as red flags and a trash because of their decisions and choices in life.
