There's gonna be a Netflix adaptation!
Please tell me you aren't joking! A few years back (2015ish i think) they said they were going to have a live action series and then dropped it! Then they promised an anime, never happened! For all things loving and holy, I'm hoping it's true. My heart can only take so much damage!

I saw it and it's sooooo good! I can't wait till December
It starts off promising. I loved how the MC was very logical and focused yet also quite vulnerable. His relationship with Jihyuk is cute and really the only highlight of the whole work, imo. The side characters are utterly disappointing, whether they're evil or "good". They exist to make a statement and that's about it.
The ML, Woon, is very not likeable, admirable, or interesting. The author does a poor job of explaining his motivations as a character or even developing him well. His entrance into the story felt like the author wanted an office romance, but the dichotomy between the survival and the office scenes just felt jarring and I wondered why we were even there.
If this was based on a novel, it's a disappointing adaptation. The art was disappointing, as well.
Ultimately, I'm here for the romance and I loved the setting. I powered through despite the unlikeable ML, because I rarely ever like MLs, so that's normal for me. But the romance was completely disappointing. If you like toxic romances, maybe you'll like this? But I get a sense that the author isn't even aware of how toxic the ML is.
Frankly, the MLs line between obsession and sex and love could've been a really interesting dynamic to explore but the author doesn't even bother. Even the "romance" had to be justified by the author at the very end by explicitly pointing out that, actually, Woon LOVES MC because he's always attentive. Of course, this narrative is only kept up by shoving side characters in there to do one job.
