Wow this manga must be so confusing for anyone that hasn’t read the novel. There’s almost no build up between them in the manga and they keep skipping important parts… kind of disappointed cos I was looking forward to the manga, and although the art is pretty, it’s just not portraying emotions very well.
The novel really lets you in on Josh and Chase’s inner monologue so that you know the thought behind every action. You could really feel why Chase was so bothered and grumpy around Josh, he was so hot for Josh and didn’t even know it. Also explains why Chase is so ‘gullible’ to the C-section scar and Josh getting wet lol but the manga just has Chase looking stupid instead.
