I mean I read for free on the site but I'm wondering if I should go spend some nuggets because the webcomic I want to read isn't on the site so should I get a subscription just for that comic?
i was in ur situation a few months ago fr. now idk which site ur talking about but for me it was m*nta where they also have a gems system. so i decided to go with that instead. id rather just pay 50 bucks to own my favorite series forever (unless m*nta goes bankrupt with bffr it def will) than paying 5 bucks a month. idk if the site ur using has that option but if it does i recommend it, since ur just reading it for one comic and all.
wait im a dumbass i read ur question wrong for me i already read the series on this site so i knew i loved it already. since u havent read it already ig i would look at the reviews and everything rly carefully cuz id crash out if the comic i spent dubloons on turns out to be garbage or just not my taste.

I found it on one of those video manhwa YouTube channels and I was feeling a little impatient however after I suppose 5 minutes in of watching the video I guess I don't mind watching the rest of the video.
okay so if its on m*nta i would look into a few things:
1) watch the vid to see if its ur taste (like ur already doing)
2) is it an ongoing comic or a complete one? if its complete its probably just better to use the 5 dollar subscription so u can binge it all at once.
3) if its ongoing, are there any illegal raw sites of it? is it completed on those sites? if its completed or going to end soon i would calculate if the subscription or the gems would end up being cheaper.
4) if ur a masochist but would like to save money, u could just buy the raws legally on the kr site. kr sites are usually way cheaper from what i've seen. or if it exists on illegal raw sites just read it for free. the caveat to this is that u would have to google translate every panel
