Kiyoto seems like the right guy, he's sweet, lovely, loves him, and is not prejudiced to be what he is. They're already partners who lives together and matches so well... Why choose a past love that not even seems so special anymore?? If it keeps on making the other guy his end game just because he couldn't deal with letting go of something from the past, the end would be really frustrating to read.
