Come on... We all understand that the plot wants Jo, but at least, put depth into it, try to give a better depth in Jo's character!... That was nonsense...

For me Jo lacks depth (roots of some previous mistakes or odd things about his past... But he is seemingly just a grounded man hence 'boring' or too 'lucky' in life and that's good but that is the error here, it makes the last behaviour quite out of character) and... And I don't see the chemistry between Jo and Ian no matter how hot they do it, it's like... It doesn't have the same effect (it must be psychological..)
Ian is pretty much lost, confused and wrecked and he seemed to had improved but once again, he is in a loop of his own poor decisions even if he has will to want to get better and change for better at moments, he had enough character backstory to help us (readers), to understand his reckless past, present and future mistakes...
And the only one that seems to go forward (for now) is TJ; who is wrecked but at least had a very well defined depth and he is also actively trying to end it with Ian, wich is a major improvement per se... But well, what is gonna happen next?? We all know he will come back, and I can already sense his comeback might worsen his character development (maybe... But, please, no)
Will the author bring him back searching for Ian? (I hope not, I want another bottom for TJ now!)
I am quite intrigued but I am also a bit hesitant with the plot...
And again, Jo, I understand why he did all that but it was out of character in a sense that it lacked depth... His obsession is quite dorky and I guess that's his justification as if showing he is just in love with the wrong person. I don't know, I really wanna feel connected to Jo, but man... I find him too neutral and suddenly off putting. It is difficult for me to sympathise with him.
Let's see what will happen... I guess more drama and messy turns to come, right? ╥﹏╥
