What helps me is Spotify genre playlists (I find the genre of a song/artist I'm in the mood for and just roll with whatever they show me), the daylist thing on Spotify, recommendations from some friends who have similar music taste, and then I also will go on other websites and have them generate me playlists based on an artist.
