Normal it way between them? Cus there wasn’t any pheromones involved, it was chaces “first time” ie he wasn’t controlled my rut and josh was just…encouraging him? Like I don’t remember thinking “wow this is hot” in the novel either. Because….it isn’t always. Sometimes it’s just a genuine connection with someone BUT….the artist could have shown chaces like…yearning. I get why Josh was smooth about it, he’s very “manly” and well men don’t tend to be very….expressive yknow. I’m down for chase being all messy though!
I’ve been in a similar boat. I really disliked my friends boyfriend for the longest time and even got angry with her, tried to make them choose but I was young and immature. I kinda just…grew to accept him. She wasn’t going to leave him so I had no choice (and before y’all come at me he went awol for a few weeks trying to get back with his ex before they made it official) so I feel my dislike for him was valid
fr the friend is valid in their thought process, the MC a 10 letting themselves be for the streets in a non power fantasy way. In real life you have to step away to keep the peace cause how the fk the guy who was trying to fk me for 2ish months learns it was you and not me gonna let you keep begging him and then you trying to do same business as his sister and the cafe is all his ideas.
