leo (the ML) is genuinely insane bc he went from pointing his sword at a 3 yr old to worrying about said 3 yr old's MOTHER being afraid of lightning / thunder and randomly falling down the stairs?? not the kid but the FL??? she's a grown woman, why would she be afraid.... can't even blame ogfl for being salty about being ditched atp. he's also boring af. the ogFL is clearly being manipulated and but it is so surface-level that it's not even made me curious to see who/what is manipulating her and what their goals are. mainly bc idgaf what happens to leo because he's literally a nothing burger of a character. lukas is very good but he's turning into the 2nd ML even tho he's more interesting than actual ML. love the FL's family, hate her ex husband and his mother, not even bc they're evil but they're just plain. everyone is genuinely uninteresting except mc, her son and ML's friend.
i can see why people like this because it definitely wasn't boring but for me, there was so much wrong with this, zeno and kuro ending up together was weird, kuro doesn't even speak like wtf she felt like an animal to me and if there was a warning, that would've been cool... also all the incest stuff played off for laughs near the end was odd. i know it's a common trope in jpn but maybe tone it down LOL if it's gonna be a trope, make it trope, don't just shoehorn it in at the end i wasn't prepared for that bs. oh right and the actual plot, mc was lowkey immature but that was fine, it was the ML that really threw me off. he's still the same guy also i think bertia and og!heronia are supposed to be different, right? but i just can't see that much developmental difference between bertia/ogfl, it felt like ogfl (from the original game timeline) was just in bertia's body and og!villainess bertia was in the new heronia's body. oh and skinny = good, fat = evil (which was insane).
this is manga so i am not surprised. this is fiction so it can exist and i don't think anyone's morality should be judged if they like this. but man, it sucked. wish i could get the time i spent reading this back.
