I TOOK A LONG BREAK FROM THIS and i came back to read it, so far i’m only on chapter 69 and GOOD LORDDD pls tell me im not the only one who’s pissed off by rishar. i get it, he loves etienne and wants to spend time with him etc. but omg can he use his fking brain?!?! it’s not like etienne WANTS to be far apart from rishar either, he loves him too and even though he doesn’t say it outright he wants to be with rishar!! WHICH IS WHY they’re planning this rebellion against the empress in the first place rishar being so careless and clumsy is literally making me so angry bc it’s so selfish of him!! so what if he misses etienne so what if he feels insecure?? there are SO MANY MORE THINGS at stake here!! now etienne’s attendant is being tortured by the empress bc rishar doesn’t know how to fking keep his distance… this is irritating me so bad bc he talks so much abt how he doesn’t want etienne to bear the burden all on his own BUT THE SHIT HE DOES literally inflates etienne’s problems by ten fold!!! rishar being clingy and needy was cute at the beginning but now him being like that is literally sabotaging etienne and putting him in MORE DANGER. does he even use his brain?!?! the empress is still the CLOSEST to etienne rn and NO ONE absolutely NOBODY has the power to protect etienne!! not even the fking emperor for god’s sake!!! let alone rishar tf?? it genuinely feels like etienne is the only one who cares ab protecting ppl, even if it means pushing rishar away WHEN IT HURTS HIM TOO!! im so sick of rishar only caring ab his own feelings and refusing to listen to etienne when he tells him to keep a distance and to be careful!!! idgaf if he’s younger rishar needs to stop acting like a brat and GROW UP! he needs to be someone that etienne NEEDS be someone who can ACTUALLY PROTECT etienne! this mf keeps yapping ab how he became a knight so that he can protect etienne blablabla but so far all the choices that i see him make just endangers etienne even more!!! but ykw… maybe im being too harsh i still have 20 more chapters to go

on another note his parents saying “he’s never really struggled in life” followed by the panel of jinhyeong quite literally going through hell is so… infuriating. jinhyeong struggled BAD… he went through so damn much throughout his formative years. getting basically caged by his father, being robbed the chance of forming genuine connections, being denied a childhood etc. has he not suffered? has he not struggled? the fact that his father is so smug about isolating his own son and relishing at the fact that his son supposedly doesn’t have a support system bc of that is so icky. im so damn glad jinhyeong is actually HAPPY and surrounded by LOVING PEOPLE. not like what his useless abusive dad thinks.

taeha needs to get over himself and stop hurting hawon, sure he “betrayed” him but that was only bc hawon was FEARING FOR HIS LIFE. hawon never fucked guys for pleasure or because he wanted to, he did it so he could survive. i’d argue hawon didn’t even “sleep with” aeil he was literally coerced and forced to have sex with aeil. he was RAPED, and that video made it so goddamn obvious that hawon wasn’t willingly “giving it up”. calling someone who’s been sexually exploited all his life ever since he was a child, a “whore” is so fucking low. i know he’s angry, i know he was betrayed but weaponising someone’s trauma against them just because they’re trying to keep the one thing that they have to protect themself is so fucked up. taeha can’t blame hawon for running away and refusing to cooperate because taeha NEVER made the effort to reassure hawon and make him feel secure. hawon betrayed taeha because he felt betrayed and lied to as well. taeha was never upfront about his feelings either, never told hawon he genuinely loved him and never SHOWED hawon that he would never hurt him. taeha kept hawon by his side with THREATS, their relationship was built on fear not trust. yet now he’s crashing out after hawon’s betrayal as if it wasn’t the most logical choice for hawon to make in order to survive?
just tell him u love him n u want that cookie bro it aint that hard. sunwoo is too dense to realise that the change in behaviour is actually because u like him STEP UP BROTHER!!
