ive been reading this for 74 chapters now and ngl if you told me this was chapter 30 i wouldve believed you. literally almost NOTHING has happened since her ex left. Crumbs of action that couldve been condensed into 8-10 chapters max.
Maybe i'll take a break from this for like another 30 chapters lol
this used to be one of my favourite yaois, but I think the slow updates and dragging storyline with the yakuza backstory has made it difficult for me to enjoy this now.
Not trying to say I don't appreciate the complex storytelling, and I'm sure the author is working very hard at putting this out, its just I've been reading this for YEARS and the infrequency of updates and dragging plot makes it hard for me to remember chapter from chapter, especially with so many name drops here and there. The momentum just isn't strong enough anymore.
I am still reading this almost out of obligation, and also wanting to moments between doumeki and yashiro.
this started off really great and then slowly devolved and felt quite rushed. I havent read the novel but it felt like by the end they really just wanted to wrap it up? lots of details missing, parts rushed...
overall still a good read tho.
just me or are the faces kinda wonky? idk the eyes are bigger and the proportions look off... they are so skinny. it mightve been a gradual change i just noticed now.
