The plot is really similar to this story, but it’s an Omegaverse version, and the sport is swimming (I think). No, it’s not Surge Into You.
The MC and ML were both swimmers, but the MC had to quit after presenting as an Omega. The (Alpha) ML went on to become an international swimming pro, while the MC’s life turned out a lot like the MC in this story.
Does anyone know which story this is?

It does come off as a bit manipulative, but since both of them agreed to it—and the MC is aware of that—I guess it’s fine.
What really bothers me, though, is how they allowed a five-year-old to enter dungeons. Even if he was an S-Class Esper, being exposed to that much violence at such a young age… it’s honestly surprising he turned out mentally stable.

The story’s kind of cute, but I honestly hope teenagers don’t read it. What was the Uke even thinking? He was literally raped, yet feels like he’s the jerk just for pretending not to notice the Seme avoiding him. **Facepalm**
This reminded me why I stopped reading romance Manga—they’re often incredibly toxic. The ML/Seme cheats, rapes, or mistreats the FL/Uke, and somehow the latter ends up blaming themselves. Then they forgive the ML/Seme far too easily.
I know Manhwa has similar tropes, but at least there, the ML usually gets some kind of redemption arc. In Manga, though, the FL/Uke ends up forgiving the cheating ML/Seme and even blames themselves.

The FL is ridiculously stubborn and downright foolish!
She knows the ML loves her precisely because she doesn’t let him control her, yet she keeps acting in ways that only draw him in more.
If she truly wants him to lose interest, why doesn’t she just be submissive and go along with what he says? It’s not like he treats her badly without reason. Every time he gets upset, it’s because she’s being difficult.
Is this novel-based? Can’t seem to find it. Help?
