I actually think the author is consistent with the character's experience. It's true that in four months he completely changed his appearance, but he still remains the shy and introverted boy he was before. I know people who have gone through similar journeys (although with weight loss over a longer period), and even after years, they sometimes still have irrational fears caused by the trauma they experienced when they were obese.
The story is literally fleshed out and well thought of, like it felt like it had a goal rather than the mc just having different challenges in life to showcase how strong they are and make them use their past knowlege. In this the mc has a goal and there so much mystery regarding his past life. Its such a waste why was this dropped

The thing I don't like about what Pink Hair is doing is, he's not refusing because he's scared of sex. He's scared Sunbae will stop paying attention to him if he's bad at sex.
