Our princess MC is chosen by the guardian tree to be the hope of her people - only, she has very weak powers. So she is married off to the emperor of a young empire…only to be assassinated in front of him. Then she returns to the past.
Pretty clever, with a serious danger and problem to solve, unlike some stories. It reads more like a mystery than anything, but our MC is pretty clever, and catches on pretty fast. Looking forward to more!
