I read this at arguably the stage the author was at before and the stage after and wow, WOW its so nice to see my experience reflected in someone else's. This still resonates with me the way it did when I was still awkward and trying to please my parents, and now it still resonates after I've explored my sexuality and even gotten married. This is beautiful.
