I wonder if tbe author is a fan. But the anime/manga is shounen (if I remember correctly) and there are two main characters. They're roughly the same size as the uke and the seme. And they're both adults.
The small one is a chef while the big one is a hunter. The world is very violent and the ingredients even more so. So the chef and the hunter needs each other.
Does anyone else remember it?

I like it. It's pretty much a knock off of that one (the one we're all thinking about) but the fast pace helps a lot.
The 4th Mugo is the one who gave the MC the key to not be eaten, it wasn't glasses Mugo. Glasses Mugo is in favor of eating sacrifices, Mean Mugo just goes along with it and 4th Mugo stopped them from eating this one by telling MC to bring Glasses Mugo something sweet. That's why Glasses Mugo saved him, not because he originally wanted to.
The MC's protector is the 4th Mugo.

Like the author did not want us to hate the omega brother so they came up with dumbass excuse. That way if (or when) the spinoff about the brother is created, it will be supported.
Sorry sis, the only way I could swallow that dumb excuse if there were at least three pages dedicated to how much an idiot the younger brother is.
