In apocalypse, MC awakened a skill that made it so he can't leave his house, but he gets to be a game master for a civilization builder type game. He can give quests, exp, skills, resources, etc. He is not allowed to leave his own area, but it's also safe from most things.
MC is fairly compassionate compared to others. He actually cares for people in a realistic way, and the side characters are great.
Main emotional beat so far was phenomenal.
