Like honestly, who even reads those? Personally, it's so frustrating to see, especially if it's paired with a manipulative or abusive ml/fl. No one wants to read a pathetic mc who can't even stand up for themselves or can't survive for 1 panel without the fl/ml.
The only pushover trope that I'd give a chance is when the mc will stop being a pushover or that therw is that sweet revenge.
