It might be that now that he basically owns the garden , the beetles don't think they have the rights to the honey. I like the beetles alot too. I do feel bad for them but they probably take shifts. I know they will definitely let mc know if they've had enough. I do agree that using them to farm is weird but that's probably temporary. It would be a waste of man power to have them doing that forever. He probably just wanted to get that kingdom started off.
