Maybe the way Cain is gonn be rejected is Jooin telling him to move on cus his previous life has nun to do with the present him. Its so “overwhelming” that he cant even consider giving him a chance.
Idk just a hunch, id really choose him over Yahwi any day, even if he gets creepy, cus nothing creeps me out more than someone taking advantage of their supposed loved one while intoxicated. If Cain well stoop to that level, or even lower, both men are trash. So is Jooin at this point.

I’m sorry no matter what type of character development he would go through, I would never look at him in a good light. I know Jooin will forgive him eventually, but if “that” whole scene never happened I would’ve been more forgiving for him. It’s sad that actual rape is becoming more normalised and even romanticised. Believe me, even if you like a person, unless you’ve got a few lose screws, you’d never forgive them for taking advantage of you regardless of the situation. And the way they just got back together like nothing ever happened pissed me off, I know it’s not real but I still can’t help it. It’s a huge slap in the face to anyone that had a similar experience.
And no I’m not taking sides in the ship war whatsoever, I just felt like speaking up...Watch me regret it the next day and delete it.

Alright so lotta thoughts, have to let this out.
• We already know that Yahwi will be end game.
One, his past was showcased which is a classic ML indicator. It’s usually an effective way to let the readers be more forgiving to the end game man. The problem is it never really worked for me. I see the backstory panel and I still think back about the time he constantly chew mcs heart and spit it out, making sure to give it pats afterwards so it sticks around. No matter how much I look at it, Yahwi himself is a blaring red flag. No matter how sweet the past was, it doesn’t justify his behaviour when Jooin was genuinely being... genuine with him
•Next issue, is Cain better? I’m personally a hoe to goldret bois. However Cain is not any better. His actions and behaviours are rooting from his past life. It was hinted that it was more ancient, and questionable behaviour common. I’m sure everyone’s rooting for him because he’s a soft boy that wants to serve mc and make him happy. And while that is true, he had the right intentions but used the wrong formula. He just came off as creepy. But honestly if he just didn’t lie once to Jooin’s face for his sake he would have been perfect
•Who would be a better match? Its not that simple, this gave me heavy Love or Hate war flashbacks except this is just toxic at its finest Both mls are possessive, one is confused and the other is a considerate manipulator. Jooin, babe, just stay single ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

We can’t really have Cain tell jooin that he was his dog in his past life.. thatd be weirder, in my opinion I think Cain isn’t really doing any harm by not telling him and by telling him straight up would most likely make jooin think he’s crzy.. Cains feelings did come from his past life and those feelings were of devotion and loyalty.. which developed into more of a more romantic feeling (in this life). You’re not really making a valid answer to why he isnt any better, rather I feel that you’re saying his feelings aren’t genuine because it’s rooted from the past or smthin.. which I believe isn’t true if that is what you’re trying to insinuate. However I am more biased towards Cain so that may affect how I feel. Although I do agree with what you say about Yahwi.. no matter how much development he gets none of it will justify his actions and everything he’s said to Jooin.

Yeah I completely agree with you now that you’ve written out these logical points. But again, I’m quite certain that Yaoi will be the end game so despite me favouring Cain more, it’s like me wanting to cope with it at this point. I wanna convince myself that he’s just as awful to make the impact of the plot softer. Cain’s backstory is still unknown so it’s better to not be on either sides just yet. Again, absolutely love goldret boys, Cain isn’t an exception. Still I can’t deny that he’s a little too obsessive, which comes with being a goldret, but would sometimes end with drama.
•One point I’d like to mention too is the fact that his feelings are partially rooting from his past (Jooin is still unconditionally generous and kind in this life which is why it would make sense that he’d fall for him even if he didn’t remember, but he does in here)
I’ve been way too familiar with reincarnation related stories and one of the main problems that come with it is this (my own interpretation though it won’t happen probably). If Cain does confess that he wants to return his kindness and affection, because he was his master in his past life, how would Jooin take this? Either he’d just go with it or act like it’s nonsense, since he’s technically a different person who has no idea about his past life. If some stranger suddenly acts all nice just because of reasons that cannot directly apply to him other than being the reincarnated soul of the master, then I’d understand if he’s gonna be skeptical.
Again, possibly won’t happen, but can’t help but worry.
I really do want it to work out, but I’ve been getting Love or Hate war flashbacks. Yaoi’s past have been suspiciously emphasised more than Cain’s which made me lose hope. And the author is infamous for having awful plot lines.
Still I’m willing to be more optimistic to Cain if we get to finally understand his reasons more clearly.

Yeah I see what you mean :( it’s kinda obvious that Yahwi is endgame and we’re all gonna have to live with that but hopefully the author will also give Cain a good ending unlike love or hate author..
Since Yahwi got first introduction and Cain came later on in the story it made it even more obvious and HONEStly even though im team Cain it wouldn’t feel right for him to be endgame.. cause the previous development and potential development yahwi and jooin have would become a waste.. and what I mean by this is that the author is tryna set up like a conflict by using yahwi and jooin to have like a complex relationship that they somehow need to fix and Cain is just there I guess for support and for the mean time his main purpose really is to just add to the story.. like without Cain this story would be shi ngl and peope only come to read this for the love triangle... the author at this point is just trying to frustrate us and keep us reading by confusing us with who the end game will be.. obviously it’s Yahwi but I’m sure they’ll keep up with giving us hope that Cain is endgame. I just hope she doesn’t pull something that is out of character for Cain like doing something to hurt jooin out of nowhere and it’ll all be a mess and Cain would end up becoming the villain. But yah I see your concern with cains situation of acting on his past life and how it can potentially ruin the situation more with jooin. But we’ll just see how the story plays out at this point ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

What you said at the end is what’s making me afraid the most. That Cain would just do something unlike him, or atleast in our pov just completely pulled out of nowhere. Oh and as for Takuto from Love or Hate, I heard that the development in the end was still beneficial for him in a way, he’s never experienced love and the author said that their relationship would’ve ended sooner or later. There’s a more detailed explanation of that in the end of the manhwa so I’d rather not say it in case I get anything wrong. I’m glad he got someone in the end but it taught me that I’ll never like love triangles exactly because of what happened to him.

Truly is because the people that called characters toxic is not too far from being toxic themselves. The ships isnt the main focus here, it's shallow and completely ignorant to put attention on who fucks who rather than the story and depth. AND FOR FUCKS SAKE YALL ARE ACTUALLY ATTACKING THE AUTHOR AND THINK ITS ALL JUSTIFIED???

Ppl really be out here seeing shit like: "Ey, I know you just lost your lover, real sorry bout that :( Anyways can you use that as reference for this shoot and make the most sad expression? :) Shit turns me on"
And still be like: Yep, i see nun wrong, good decent human boy. Me like. Joowon development arc? Whos she?

People proceed to have a logic of "if he can't have him, no one can". Or just say that they're all toxic.
The word toxic has been thrown around really easily, but I personally think that they're all just flawed. But that doesn't mean that it is beyond repair. It just so happens that Joowon was the one that got a character development. I can't say for sure that he will end up with Haesoo, but they might as well be since they've already been through a lot.

Theres more watermarks than usual- has flashy ads so prepare yourself
