Okay with this chapter I’m rooting for pink hair now. It’s so frustrating when they don’t listen. Like, I get he has his own preconceived notions, but if even his friend is trying to go this far to get you to hear her explanation, maybe there’s something??? Also, just cause they’re a fan of someone doesn’t mean they’re in love with them!! Ahhhhhh!!! Girl! Switch your bias!
I was listening to the song escape (the do you like pina coladas song) and I suddenly wondered if there was a story like that. Like, a romfan where two people who are in an arranged marriage and due to misunderstandings and their family’s backgrounds(like maybe they’re enemies), they despise each other and refuse to know more about each other(like even their first encounter was horrible). However, they then get into contact somehow(like with secret identities) and the more they talk, they both start falling in love with each other. However, they know they can never be together(their secret identities) because they’re both already married, so they have to keep their distance(ensue angst). Throughout the story, they then realize that the person they fell in love with is each other and they both feel stupid at the end, because if they just communicated like regular people, this wouldn’t have happened lol.
One of my least favorite tropes that I need to shout out into the void:
Super cool and powerful female lead who’s known as all-powerful. However, she suddenly dies or switches body with a super weak girl and she can’t use any of her previous strength.
Like, why even say she’s super powerful when she isn’t super powerful for the majority of the story??
I GET YOUUU !! i get so frustrated with plots like this bc now she needs to rely on a man even tho she used to be powerful enough to kick asses without other people’s help…
YESSS!!! Like, you’re telling me she’s this powerful arch mage but this new body she got into can’t use magic?? Like, what’s the point then???

I’m in chapter 43 but I’m sensing a time skip is going to happen and the mc and the ml are going to get separated cause they’re only 15 years old rn and the mc said she wanted him to meet new people and stuff. Plus with what everybody said about him having amnesia… I’m worried to read further… if someone has any spoilers about this story please tell me!! I tried looking in the reviews but nobody had anything like usual lol
