I’m trying to find two mangas i’ve read a long time ago and i only have very little description to go by
1st manga:
the only memory i have of it is the mc going back to her family island she lived on since she was born to find out more about her mom and something about a love triangle between her mom, her dad, and her uncle
2nd manga:
Chrono’s daughter takes possession of a princess’s body to find 13 people in order to awaken the princess and when thats finished no one remembers her except the male lead and he manages to bring her back by possessing another body
This story is cute I will not lie, but it’s so mid. I love how the sister’s are on two separate sides of one coin, but I wished the older sister’s pain wasn’t so overlooked. She lost her family, her friends, her life, and her kingdom, all because she rejected a marriage proposal. She wanted revenge and her life back, but it was cut for the mc love story. I found them both to be very annoying, the sister sounded privilege and ignorant to the mc’s pain from living alone in an abandoned tower. Like of course she’s not going to feel sentimental and emotionally connected to their defeated kingdom because she raised disconnected from everything, only person that was with her was her nanny. For the mc, she was very annoying for the fact that she couldn’t understand how her sister is acting like this. I understand her whole attitude is “live towards the future” but of course that attitude won’t work on the sister, she lost everything, there’s nothing going for her other than revenge. Like literally, the mc said she really liked the sister and was worried about the story not continuing to the of plot but didnt do anything to try to move it forward and instead, the story focused on her life with the duke and their feelings growing for each other. Everything just feels watered down, even the love story feels fast paced, like he literally was letting her live in the dungeon and the only thing that saved her, was her love for food and feeding people. I feel like this story just wanted to focus more on the food and how it can bring people closer and not the plot in whole which is probably why it’s short. Also the whole thing with the wizard felt forced and random, like he was just there as a plot point to hold the mc back from the ml. Though i do understand his character and his story, but the story never explored it and just showed glimpses of his trauma instead of explaining more in depth why he didn’t want the mc with the ml other than he’s a witch hater. Overall, the story was mid, 3.6/10, bc i do like food based stories if done correctly
