But really, I like how how guilty he feels about the past, like, even a small callback to a time when he wasn't considerate of her got him back on his knees. Although it gets a bit heartbreaking to hear his self deprecating thoughts everytime but shit, if that's the price to get him to treat her better so be it... Maybe with time his low self esteem will get some healing too
His masked 'calm face' is kinda scary, but I understand he's trying to protect himself from a parent who abandoned him. Last thing he wants is be vulnerable in front of her :'(

You can't hate it when it's THIS beautiful and poetic damn. We even got a title drop and a twist that it's HIM who regarded her as his oppressor because of the twisted love he harbored for her urgh.
