Is it just me but I feel like the twins are childish? They are 18 year old students who reincarnated into children’s bodies. They act more like a child than a 18 year old. Also it kinda weird for them to have a crush on the older characters. They know they are in a children’s bodies and should be more mature about it. I feel bad that they have to go through torture for 2 years but they should act mature. This just my opinion and I hope no one get offended

I agree with most of the replies. Another thing that can actually influence their attitude would be that their current brain is 5yo, thus it means that they physically can't think like proper adults. Underdeveloped brains will complicate a lot of their functions like analytic thinking and emotion regulation.
They are significantly more mature than actual 5yo because of their past lives, but their mental age is a bit held back by their physical brains.
Also, I'm guessing their mental age will play a huge role later in the story went they become teenagers and their brains will be closer to an adult's one. Plus, they will certainly get more involved in politics and studies at that age. For now, nobody gives them hard tasks cause they're physically 5yo.
Not offended but I find it funny that you want them to be more mature coz their techically 18 year olds but also find it weird that they would have crushes on the older characters. Like if they are truly mature and all, their types will be mature as well.
You call them childish but i think they're not bad at all, there's many others webtoon (with the same plot) that have mc who looks dumber that 5year olds even tho their mind supposed to be an adult. It's so illogical to the point that i can't stand it. Compared to them this one is sooo much better
