I haven't commented on Woowon and Seoan's relationship because I felt it was pretty straight forward since the beginning of S1. I did stop following it since I wanted the dad situation to marinate so I could read it in full. I will say I enjoyed Won being how he is now more than I did in S1 (here me out! Cause know some people don't like what's been goin on in the last few chapters)
Woowon from S1 is a reserved man that doesn't have much of a personality outside what he likes. Which is Seoan, but we see over the course of learning about him this stems from lack of control at home. He and his mother are poor and his father abuse and used them for many years (holding his fatherly role over Won's head and getting money out of him). This is a boy becoming a man without guidance. He doesn't know how to release that pain healthily, you see it with how he burdens himself with his mothers pain and his own. He tries to take own both of their shared pains alone which is really catastrophic.
Then we have Seoan and man that has a emotionally neglectful father that treats him like an employee more than his child. This is a man with anxiety disorder and control issues, just like his boyfriend he doesn't have control of his life completely so he uses his control with his relationship with Woowon to keep it in line. He knows without control he would be risking losing everything. This is why he never ask Woowon if he wanted to come with him but instead made the decision for both of them. He knows Woowon wouldn't fight it (lacks having control) and he can keep both of them "safe" and together (harbor's on control) both are one in the same and need not only therapy and but an honest conversation about how to love each other and respect each others wishes.
If they both give up control and takes some control (give and take method) they may be able to actually balance themselves out better.
This is why I actually like these last few chapters. Is it sad and uncomfortable to watch
Won use sex to avoid his true feelings (yes it is) but it shows him trying to battle his emotions that he lacks control of (see how I mentioned his issue with not having control his whole life) and then we have Seoan willingly giving into Won's emotional needs and relinquishing some of that control he usually has. He lets Won win in the end because he can tell he's cracking and doesn't know what do outside of giving his body to his boyfriend to hold on to (letting go of control).
This is not a healthy way to handle problems and I agree they really have to talk at some point, but I like seeing both of them falling out of control. Hopefully it means we can finally find that real balance they so desperately need.
Sorry this was long as hell (●'◡'●)ノ
I came for bonus/side story smut and cuteness! I left perplexed and nervous Σ(っ°Д °;)っ this isn't how I thought bonus stories could go but here we are... let's pray it a flesh wound ┗( T﹏T )┛
Funny enough I haven't read Wet Sand in a while cause I hate messy love triangles (stopped around chapter 50+...kept up with drama through fan updates) that lead nowhere but from what I'm seeing is everyone loves TJ cause he's a broken man and thrives in that along with Ian but Jo is annoying cause he's has hero complex...which is funny to me because that means Jo is the "I can fix him type" which is exactly how some of y'all are with TJ (⌒▽⌒). You find TJ attractive cause he "acknowledges" his flaws and uses it like a badge of honor which is actually really self sabotaging cause there no room for growth and healing. I bet if y'all play Love in Deepspace y'all would eat Caleb up for dinner since him and MC are childhood friends that pine for each other while also dealing with some toxic situations.
Jo is stupid and young and definitely going to get himself hurt but he's like the other two broken men. They'll all flawed and shouldn't be messing with each other but that wouldn't make it a good "dramatic" story.
Hence why I can't stand "love" triangles ╥﹏╥
Can't wait to find out who dies at the end of this story cause I definitely don't believe all three of them are going to live by the end.
When I say I need someone to look at me the way these two look at each other. Man everytime they alone, the sexual charge is through the damn roof. I'm blushing and I'm not even involved ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
They be devouring each other like animals and I'm here for it!!! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I know their relationship needs mad communication work but one thing that is known for sure, Jake ain't let his grease covered man go. He be eating his armpits for breakfast, lunch, and dinner lol
And we already know Shin can't get enough of Jake, the minute his name is mentioned his heart practically does back flips
Oh my poor single heart ┗( T﹏T )┛ I'm so happy for fictional characters damn it!
I love that shut her questions down. I always hated when people think they have the right to know the in's and outs of your relationship. Like if we were besties maybe but girl we classmates. Mind your business ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
He definitely matched his freak! Minchan looked my man dead in the eyes and said "you would f me until we die, well I ain't dead yet" ヾ(☆▽☆)
Also bro really took the saying "rearranging your guts" to the max. Man had his hand in bro diaphragm (● ̄(エ) ̄●)
God damn...Minchan needs to be limping the next morning after that insane session lol
How do people feel about all of these people (Hwayoung's "friends" as well) feel so damn entitled to Hwayoung's sex life and his D/S relationship with Gyuwon? I am genuinely curious if anyone feels like I do or thinks differently and why.
As someone who into BDSM, it reads off weird that all of these adults are actively rooting for the crash/burn of Hwa and Gyu's relationship just cause he doesn't participate anymore and wants him to "share" his bf.
As far as I know the kink community isn't place where once you sign up you have to stay actively single or non-monogamous or it's a rule that dungeon's are a free for all no matter anyone's comfortability. Them talking about having a taste of Gyuwon was gross to me. No one should feel entitle to anyone's partner just cause they all like the same shit.
Also Sungjoon (for 3 fucking years mind you) pining after Gyuwon has got to be super pathetic at this point. Like bro--first it's Hwayoung, then his bf, hell even wanting to be a throuple. Why are all these Dom's written to be so damn desperate
Now I'm not saying I'm not enjoying Hwa/Gyu as a couple, if anything; they're fun to read about and I love a good ole big boy bottom and pretty boy top, but all the side character's honestly ruin my mood lol. No acts like real people...maybe that's why...
Lyle dear...He said you have a safe word, if you don't use it of course the booty gonna become a cherry tomato (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Now I will say in the real world when it comes to kink/consent. As someone who is usually submissive in the the bedroom. Please always make sure the consent stays continuous people. Lyle being draw as a soft crybaby is made for his endearing traits but in real life a partner shouldn't feel the need to do things they're uncomfortable with just to please you (unless they explicitly state they want to try it). It makes the intimacy stay healthy and sexier, but overall I still can't get enough of these two!!!
Stay safe and consensual guys!!
P.S why are the chapters starting to blue ball me?!?! Why are they extremely shorter then usual? ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Yes let's worry about cumming on the pretty passed out man face instead developing Jae into a human that can regulate his emotions. I mean almost 70 chapters in and have yet to get an ounce closer to a back story, flashback, or something deeper than "I'm just gonna have to keep you in the palm of my hand"
I will continue saying that brick walls have better emotions than Jaekyung does as a person. It's funny cause he's not even the worse Top out there. We have men like Ceaser, Zhenya, Ilay, etc...but something about his lack of emotional intelligence drives me crazy. Like those characters are meant to be horrible humans (mafia, Russian agent, german hitman) but they even get hints of backstory through out about their horrid upbringings (well except Ilay...he's just insane lmao) and the slow character growth is on par with how hard it is for them to trust someone with their hearts/emotions.
But Jae is just a MMA fighter... he's not meant to be this horrible red flag that no one can relate to, but he just continues to complain about Dan and get irritated at the very idea of taking care of him, even after seeing all of dark shit Dan has been through. Like why make him so unlikeable to your audience?
(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
This is what I mean when I say some authors play around with lack of communication for drama. Why is Jeong Yoon so self aware yet so damn dense. Bro was full on hand jobbing Chae Heon and was still like "but what if he doesn't like me???" ヽ(`Д´)ノ you gonna make me snap man lol
Everything between these two for 35+ chapters was: he would never like me, he must be dating this girl because she she's pretty and around him, why are you so confusing, what are you thinking...like HOW ARE YOU TWO SO DAMN EXHAUSTING?! My god! You deserve one another!
Also I know Chae has parental issues and lacks emotional stability but he was pissing me off with... delete numbers, don't hang with that person, you can't look at other mens bodies...sir shut up!
