I finally finished this after kinda waiting awhile lol. I read the comments as well, a lot of people dont really like the ending. Which is fine, there are multiple of ways that we’d probably want the ending to go, but i actually really really enjoyed this! Especially the ending (=・ω・=)
Truthfully i really wanted jaewon to be with junseo (doesnt everyone?) but you really do have to think in JAEWONS way, and how HE feels instead of yours. Since u read this u prolly already know that it was hard for even him to decide because he felt bad for junseo (hence why he ignored him and cried when he finally told him was just confessed to by ka nim). But for him i think its definitely the right decision, if he had felt terrible for junseo and decided to decline ka nim, that would be weird right? He IS in love with Ka nim in the first place, and not junseo. So if you think about it properly, its a really normal choice! Its not boring or “out of the ordinary” just because the author didnt wanna go with the “fanservicy” one, they did this because its what people do when they are put between two people that clearly likes them and say that the have already have feelings for one of them. Of course theyd go with the one they liked. So pls dont be so hard on the author ;w; its clearly a story about experiencing love (a relationship) for the first time

I see your point and agree with the realism of it, but for me what really makes me dislike the ending is because Karam had basically no buildup and it's as if he just suddenly started to like Jaewon out of nowhere. It doesn't make sense, and the ending overall feels incredibly rushed. It could have been done so much better even if you had to keep them as the end pairing. From the typical romance story perspective though, it would have made the most sense to all of the readers if Jaewon ended up with Junseo because the author gave us Junseo's backstory and developed him and did so in a way to get us attached to him to the point where he was the clear main lead only to end with him getting hurt again and ultimately receiving no closure.

I agree with Suisalty. Karam has literally no development. No build up. No real hints from the beginning that he has an interest or that this relationship is trying to evolve. It always seemed one-sided from Jaewon, and that it’s starting to get kinda ridiculous why it was still going past the 50 chapters still when Junseo is literally there, has buildup, albeit more screentime (if u can call it that) and more depth.
I don’t mean to shoutout to anything, but I’ve just finished reading Wistful Summer and the same three point love story is there, but it was soooo well executed, so if u read it you’ll understand what this one lacked.
I have no problem with a ship I liked not sailing, but please don’t hitch all the plot stars on it, make it a major point that is basically what’s driving the story forward, then drop it as if it was nothing. She could’ve showed us Karam’s take on this from the beginning so we can sympathize more and understand the normal un-rushed development of his feelongs.
