Honestly started this without expectations knowing the usual bl tropes. But fuck me I binge read this like a madman on crack. I love two main characters with personalities that resonate with their life experiences. Sure Binhwa is dimwitted but it fits him since he’s been jailed for forever.
It’s not one protecting the weak one or just the 24/7 pitiful crying bottom guy. He’s written like an actual person. Love Minchan(was that his name?)
The story is an actual masterpiece too. Things are well thought-out. Their missions are interesting and what happens is actual important to the plot without making it feel forced or rushed. This is honestly an example of what bl should be. Not just forced porn with the same minimal story to it and the long road of misunderstanding and miscommunication (can’t judge on this part yet since we’re not there yet)
This is just my opinion of course but I just feel refreshed reading an actual good story for once. It’s been damn good while since I read anything like this.

Honestly loved this so much. It was cliche in the sense of one being rich and lonely and the other struggling but my god. Finally reading a story where both leads are emotionally growing and learning each other on a deeper level than just the bed. I need more of this level headed thinking in bl’s cuz fuck me all this brainless sex addict shit is boring me. It’s so nice both have problems in their own way but learn how to approve and adapt to it rather than ignore the issue. They actually TALKED rather than spiral on misunderstandings. Author did such a good job with creating an emotionally rich story.
