i only read like half of this and im not going back and starting over but i actually did like what i read. idk sometimes in these "dark" ones the love interest doesnt really care about the protagonist at all until like 40 chapters in but there was some sort of quiet affection here that i did appreciate idk maybe my expectations are low now bc of jinx
