Well since Amon is a god he cannot fathom the fragility and gift of life. Nain was made immortal (I think) and the people who are called in (the concubines sorta? I forgot what they were called) weren’t for Amon but actually for Nain to distract him. Gwen becomes a second ML and Nain grows to stop loving and becomes this transparent being that just wanders around. Only Gwen and Amon can see him and eventually Nain comes back but just stops loving both of the MLs. (The ending is open so people interpret it differently) sorry if there’s any mistakes I’m so sleep deprived lmao
