Nah I am also bothered by it. I don't really like the relationship that started with a adult person meeting with another for the first as a child.

Nah that didn’t happen. In the novel bio dad did declare publicly at the king’s ceremony tht she’s her daughter and invite her to come back but there’s no outright custody battle. Stepdad is sad but being understanding at same time. And she still wanna stay there for Ravi if i rmb it right
