Not the strangest I have read. Smut was great. Story was great. Wish there was more about the origins of the curse/blessing. The actual origins.
It is explained between Ch30-39.
How Shane gave that guy the curse. How Shane was originally cursed. And, when Shane FINALLY removed the curse from that man. That's all I know. I decided to drop this, but it'll bug me- so I've been jumping around from one random chapter to another, and it was one of my first picks.(⌒▽⌒)
