
Hopefully the author doesn't linger on that part of the plot too long, and just skips through it to where Ian's free from the center's control. I highly doubt it (more than likely it'll turn into a giant arc where the mc betrays him, regrets it, and turns the research center in to save Ian right before something nasty happens), but I can at least hope lol

It was a cute detail that they were wearing matching shirts, and the story left off on a good note, but I wish they would have gone into more detail. It feels like the ML barely had any character growth, and the MC accepted getting back together way too easily and just let the ML keep all of his secrets. Imo, I can picture this just being a toxic spiral of breaking up over the simplest of arguments and getting back together without ever really addressing anything. It's just going to cause more problems for them in the future.
