This chapter gave us some very interesting information and solidified a few things.
First off, the doctor is clearly an important character. Many of us were theorizing that he might not have been honest about Guwon killing his family do to how absurd it would be for a supposedly loving father to accept and follow his wife and children's murderer. But I think he wasn't lying, instead he simply withheld his motives for doing so and he may have followed Guwon for the sole purpose of avenging his family but ran into trouble as soon as he seen how the town worked.
Especially with his attempts at telling people about Guwon in the past going poorly. The person who "went directly to Guwon" to confront him was most likely killed by the hounds for stepping out of line.
The hounds are now confirmed to be an oppressive force to the town civilians, and that will most likely negatively impact Teach in the future because of his close connection to Guwon. Who, is growing increasingly obsessed with teach. Worshippers rarely appreciate changes in their idols, especially if Guwon becomes less violent as a result of interacting with Jinwoo.
As for the situation with teach's dad: we all know Jinwoo is an unreliable narrator so all we can go off of are the panels themselves. And, where the body was laying + its clothes make it look like Jinwoo's dad was the same person Guwon murdered in the beginning of the series when he found Jinwoo. It's position, place in the room in comparison to where Jinwoo was laying, and the fact that there's no other corpses anywhere. But, there was also another person in the beginning chapters, someone screaming for help because "they had been robbed" but you don't see them, just the sound of them suddenly dying. I wonder if that person could have any significance here?
Guwon showing up at the end was also... weird. There's two possibilities: One, Guwon tailed them and watched them the whole way or two, Guwon went to teach's house ahead of time in order to tamper with or move things.

I'm up to date with the latest raws and I'm really wondering where the relationships in this are going lol.
I feel like Jin, Kimoto and Tehir are set up for the craziest love triangle ever. Younger Jin had a crush on Kimoto before losing his memories, Kimoto is in love with Tehir and Tehir has a crush on Jin. But Tehir is also weirdly obsessed with Kimoto.
The author could play it straight and try to force Kimoto and Tehir together without involving Jin, but I don't think that'll be the case because why add the bit about Tehir liking Jin at all? Also, Tehir and Kimoto are really not good together imo. Tehir needs to be put in his place and Kimoto ain't gonna do it lol.

I just checked the latest raw too and...
Rather than crush Young Jin seems more entertained of Kimoto bc out of all the kids, Kimoto is the deadliest/strongest/beast-like but is completely unaware of it. In young Jin's logical and all knowing eyes, it is probably ironic and joke-like that Kimoto is so passive and scared of him . Hence the reason he laughed while spying at Kimoto being stone scared that one night.
Another possible reason could also be that Jin intentionally triggered and harrassed Kimoto to paranoia and anger for the sake of 1) prove him how Tehir is no merciful angel etc 2) force him to realized his instinct monstrous side 3) prove him that he's literally more dangerous and monstrous that since they have that "You're a monster not me" talk.
Ofc this is just a theory.
Ooooh for sure, it's a love triangle haha. And I'm so ready for it! We know for sure Tehir """"loves""""" jin thanks to author's relationship chart on Twitter and well, in previous chapter we see Tehir blush when Jin slept next to him. Arguably that crush turned obsession, vengeance and *i hope* love/lust after the whole incident. I'm so curious how this will work out. Kimoto seems already a bit taken by adult Jin's character and actions altho not positively. He still was bothered and always thinking at Jin's nipple bwahahahahq

Yeahhh, it just seemed to me there was slightly more fondness for Kimoto from Jin than just feeling like they were similar? Because Jin hurt Tehir without hesitation but refused to retaliate against Kimoto when Kimoto attacked him, he just smiled and let himself get hurt.
I feel like there's potential for the two to develop romantically if that's what the author wanted honestly. Jin already thinks Kimoto is cute and Kimoto is so used to being treated like shit, how sweet and devoted Jin can be might heal his heart. Plus, others struggle to read Kimoto and Kimoto easily keeps a poker face with everyone except for Jin who pulls reactions out of him easily lol.
As for Tehir, it's hard to get a read on how his relationship with Jin might go because the author isn't letting them interact for now. But I think he might try to "dominate" Jin though sex like he did to Kimoto, but it won't go his way/he'll fail

With recent developments, I think that there could be multiple couples. That's what I wish happens hahaha.
I don't like stories with open relationships but here everyone has history with each other and I can get behind the idea. Like, there's chemistry even if it's toxic.
We know there's definitely the Tehir and Kimoto couple, but maybe we can see Tehir and Jin, this time with Tehir as the bottom, cause you know...Jin has experience with someone with the kind of body that Tehir has hahaha.
And Garon and Kimoto are cute too, Garon respects him and acknowledges that he's very strong. I'd like to see Kimoto as a top there .
Jin and Kimoto are also very funny together!! I can't stop laughing at their interactions.
Lastly, we know Garon wants to fuck Jin so there's that too.
So many possibilities...

Hohoho don't get me wrong if something blooms between Jin and Kimoto, I'll be so on board Given Kimoto's strong almost comical aversion towards Jin, it would be super intriguing to find out how he can have a change of heart.
Sigh... Author is really teasing us. Lots of info about Tehir thoughts on Jin but barely no scene of them adult yet.
Omg *about your last paragraph* I would love to see that haha

Let Garon have Tehir, I don't want neither of them near my precious Kimoto and Jin !
Garon is a killing machine thinking abt nothing but sex and his superior genes, and Tehir is a vicious piece of shit thinking about revenge only and how superior his title is to others, so yeah, they can get each other since none of them is emotionally mature and intelligent....
And I so love Kimoto for him to end up with any of those 2, just kill him atp lol (No please, give him a happy ending away from these 2 nutcases!)

I'm up to date and it was shown that Garon is obedient when it comes to Kimoto since the very first chapters too so I'm very aware of all that, but that's just cause Kimoto, besides supervising the running of Scanner where Garon works and has the liberty to kill, can actually hold his p*w p*w a hostage whenever he wants lol -as he already did once to protect Jin from Garon's assault in the beginning...- and not because he's fond of him or anything of the sort.
So yeah, him being so simple, instinct-driven, and immature, would make any endgame relationship with him and the main characters fall flat for me.....especially since the others have already some interesting dynamics that have been binding them for so long going on, so if the author was to sacrifice the developpement of those said relationships for a latter one with Garon, I think I'll be very much disappointed....
I'm sure we'll get to see more of him and discover more of his background story but I'm just not as interested in him in general, so if anything, he can get it up with rapist Tehir since he has a tendency of wanting to rape others too......

Teach obviously killed his own dad. I think his dad attacked him first though since the image of the guy holding the bat is his dad.
But after he witnessed Guwon murdering someone, his brain is filling those memories with him instead so that Teach doesn't need to face the trauma of what happened.
But, Guwon smiled and brushed off Teach's question like he just did with the kids which is heightening his paranoia. Either way, it looks like we'll finally be getting some scenes away from the town. I suspect that Guwon won't want to take Jinwoo, but will give in eventually and something bad will happen while they're out.
Could also be how we get introduced to all the "hounds" if he goes with them on one of their regular trips.

GREEN BITCH DIE DIE DIE DIE
Also, where there are machines, there are people who design them right? I wonder if there's a human mastermind behind the daycare experiment who needed to create strong people for something in particular? But it never came to fruition/was canceled or failed because no one ever came for them

You guys are letting your affection for Guwon cloud your judgement lol. (Relatable)
I agree with Jinwoo that the medicine rules are unreasonable. Restricting medicine use itself makes sense, it should be reserved for emergencies. The issue is, that regular town people aren't allowed to use any AT ALL even if a life is at risk. Valuing the lives of the hounds over everyone else is nonsensical.
Yes, they go out and do dangerous stuff by retrieving supplies. But everyone contributes important work, that's why they're allowed to stay there. And quite frankly, it's much harder to find a replacement for a DOCTOR or something equivalent than it is to find another person to do physical labor.
This chapter also made it obvious to me that Guwon had probably been questioning himself for a while. Feeling isolated and not knowing if he was actually doing the right thing. He craved an equal and someone to actually talk to. And Jinwoo is the only person he's managed to connect with. But, their relationship has changed because Guwon isn't the person teach thought he was. And Guwon doesn't realize anything is different.
He's gonna try to have sex with teach next chapter and get rejected, and teach is gonna keep avoiding him. I predict a mild crash out from Guwon, perhaps some obsessive tendencies.

Lack of sleep, probably more nightmares and trying too hard to help other people/throwing himself into work. :(
I imagine he'll be under a lot of stress now, since the others realize he's capable of convincing Guwon of things they'll attempt to constantly use that to get what they want. It'll increase his anxiety a lot until he reaches a breaking point.

yeah, i can totally see that happening. poor jinwoo
he's got so much to sort out, and on top of that, the massive responsibility they've put on him of being the only one guwon listens to.
and he was scared... not sure he could change guwon's mind. him standing his ground is what saved him, but he had no confirmation it would work. like, who is this man? what's he going to do to me?
i'm glad he was brave, 'cause i don't trust this town to look out for each other if it means contradicting guwon.

You're right, it was a pretty important moment to show us what kind of character Jinwoo is too.
The other towns people willingly let others die to keep themselves safe, but Jinwoo was willing to face trial and die in a brutal way just for the mere possibility of helping a sick child he met only recently :(

People are a bit too black and white about Guwons character I think. It's either "He's done nothing wrong, killing happens when you're in an apocalypse." Or "Guwon is a black flag that's been manipulating Teach this whole time. He's evil."
When we first see Guwon he's waking up from the rubble in the middle of an apocalypse, and we watch him walk until he discovers the fancy house he lives in now. Guwon has NO memories of anything previous to waking up and crawling out of that rubble. He even said himself that he felt like everything was already decided before he woke up, and he was destined to protect that town.
At this point, theorizing that Guwon's personality is fake and he's manipulating everyone is silly. It's clear that his black and white thinking, and lack of experience are genuine. As well as his affection for teach. And no, he didn't fake being a virgin. You can't fake prematurely ejaculating and a nosebleed lol.
I'm not saying that doc is straight up lying, but we definitely don't have the full picture when it comes to the situation in town. And I think "the hounds" are a major part of that.
Guwon deadass doesn't realize murder is wrong. And he's surrounded by people that are either too scared to tell him he's wrong or are directly benefiting from his violence without needing to do anything difficult themselves. Guwon is driven by a strange sense of responsibility, and is moving towards his goals without any understanding of the world/what it means to be human or genuine connection to the people around him. And THAT is what makes teach so important.
Everything about teach is new, and exciting. There's now a person willing to look Guwon in the eye when they talk, to stroke his hair when he did something good and hug him. Laugh with him, tell him about the world and teach him all the things he didn't know. I think Jinwoo's role in the story is literally going to be to TEACH the "monster" how to be a person again.
Whats crazy is that Jin was 100% correct lol. He read Tehir like a book and understood him way better than Kimoto ever could.
Jin said Tehir was attracted to people he felt were stronger than him, that moment Jin laughed at him and Tehir felt "dominated" must be when he got his crush on Jin. I have no idea where the dynamic with these three is going but I 100% feel like Kimoto and Tehir are not a good couple.
I also still have a strong feeling that OG Jin will make a reappearance in some way. I wonder what will trigger that, another head injury?
Me too!!
God imagine their faces if OG Jin ever came back. Garon would cream his pants kinda<3
In Jin's story they do say that Jin Is extremely smart but unfortunately he seems to lack an emotional intelligence.
Yup. The new Jin makes up for that as he's very sociable and sweet, but lacks everything og Jin was.
It almost makes me wonder if this new personality wasn't something intentionally created by og Jin to make up for his own flaws. After all, he had a shard made of blood stabbed into his head when he fell, and only Jin himself could've done that.
would want to see that scene kinda <3
