I expected Mr Na to be the ML when I first started reading, and I'm really glad he's not because I like Guk so much.

MC can do no wrong in his eyes lmao. And he's possessive ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Seeing how this series shares a world with "I can see your stats!", it's pretty clear that Amon and Gwen are both dragons and Na'in is a dragon mate.

What confuses me is why Amon is allowing Gwen's presence?? He surely realized he was a dragon earlier on when he was questioning Gwen about his scent. And if Amon knows Gwen is a dragon, then isn't the reason he's there obviously to steal Na'in? Why hasn't Amon attacked him or chased him away?

Most of us already knew but in chapter 44 it's confirmed that Tehir had a crush on Jin. Kimoto knew this from the beginning and admitted that it was the real reason he hated Jin so much.

It's also revealed that Tehir started moving around, studying and trying to better himself for a while after they found Jin. It upset Kimoto because giving Tehir the motivation to better himself was something he could never do.

I had been wondering for a while why we hadn't seen Jin and Tehir interact more since their relationship is so important plot wise. But now I'm thinking that it was Tehir intentionally avoiding Jin. Jin was not only his crush, but the only person he perceived as being his equal. He wants to show Jin a better side of himself, and doesn't want Jin to see how "pathetic" he's become. But, Jin had completely lost his memories and that must've been incredibly frustrating to Tehir, who wanted to prove himself.

The past few chapters have added so much to Tehir's character, and I'm very interested to see where the weird love triangle is going.

The next chapters seem so interesting but the official translation is on a 4 week hiatus!! I wanna cry .

    Spoiler**

And those last scenes are so curious, it looks like Kimoto remembers Jin coming out of his own body. Maybe he's like his mother haha or brother, that would explain Jin's attachment to Kimoto.

Ngl I think Tehir strong hatred for Kimoto is further explained in ch. 44 too. Like there's a multitude layer for his harsh and cold treatment of Kimoto like:
    1. He thinks Kimoto is weak, equal to a bug be it metaphorically or literally.
    2. Kimoto was the one that have seen all of him in his most vulnerable state. Tehir hates being seen weak and losing control of his y'know... Reason why he cursed Kimoto when he was bedridden
    3. He's too prideful. Being helped and talked to like he's a child by someone he perceived to be weak hits a nail.
    4. He's too broken to keep up with the facade if being kind to everyone.
    5. Jin taking Kimoto's side and warning almost Tehir to not mistreat Kimoto because he likes Kimoto, must have added more fuel to his dislike of Kimoto.

Thank your for the spoiler cause I seen the raws and was confused. Then when I was translating the comments multiple comments mention Kimoto & Jin being possibly siblings/brothers. I surely hope the fuck not. I don't understand why the author would make them siblings. I honestly don't even know where the story is going anymore.

I was interpreting that as them being born from the same corpse, almost like siblings? I guess we'll find out when chapter 45 releases Bibi

I believe from what a Korean commentator on the site I read the raw chapters, said that they are most likely brothers because of the fact that they were born from the same body. Kimoto always had a complex about being a “bug” while Jin was born more human-like so that’s why he was being a jerk to Jin. That and the fact that the person he liked obviously had a thing for Jin. but it turns out(from what the Korean commentator speculated) that Jin and Kimoto are actually the true powerful ones and Tehir is considered a fake powerful being. Anyways, this got me thinking that this explains why anything, like seeing Jin’s nipples, grosses Kimoto out because Jin is his sibling! And instinctually he is repulsed by the thought of Jin in any kind of way dog way. This also explains why Jin liked following Kimoto around when they were kids! Also why he got mad at Tehir when he openly looked down on Kimoto. Jin probably wanted to be close to his sibling and to protect him from people who would treat him bad! But now Jin doesn’t remember anything and it appears that Kimoto never knew back then and is now learning about this truth now int the recent Korean chapters. So I can’t wait for it to be translated!

Your right that tehir had a crush on jin but it’s more so the “other jin”.
Tehir have not been interested or attracted to our jin as of yet and I don’t think he’ll ever be unless our jin turn to the bad one

Bibi August 18, 2025 12:50 pm

They easily could've made the professor just an older student and the story would've been the exact same. Why do authors want to force these uncomfortable age gaps/power dynamics

The next series of flashbacks will probably show how he got his jinx and how he started sleeping around so much. What ya'll wanna bet he fell in love and had a nasty breakup like Jiwon?

    Ronnie August 14, 2025 3:01 am

Probably, especially since so far the creator has been using cliches and redoing what she’s done before.

Bibi August 13, 2025 5:42 pm

Whoaaa, okay so we're finally starting to get more information.

In chapter 42 Kimoto, Jin and Garon are laying in bed together talking about romance/love. Jin says something that reminds Kimoto of the past, so when everyone is asleep Kimoto cuts Jins hair and uses his DNA to finish unsealing the file containing all the information about them and the daycare.

This is both good and bad, lol. Good because the readers will finally know everything, bad because Kimoto just made it 1000× easier for green bitch to get what he needs since he won't have to go through Jin himself anymore.

All of chapter 43 is information regarding Tehir. As it turns out, Tehirs power is called the Halo of domination. The more they love themselves, the bigger the halo gets until they're practically gods with the halo able to wrap around the planet. But they're so arrogant and self centered that it leads to catastrophe ofc, so they're killed off by society before they can do anything. Add onto that Tehir's... species? Which are also known for having inflated egos, bros whole existence was a recipe for disaster.

Their AI caretaker had saved Tehir from execution, thinking that if the one who holds the halo of domination was genuinely benevolent then it could be used for good. So it experimented and attempted to alter Tehir's brain to encourage empathy and compassion. Can't say it worked lol, or maybe Jin caused this by injuring his spinal cord? Idk. I think the chapter after this will all be flashbacks and information regarding Jin, Tehir, and Kimoto one by one. I realllyyyyyy want to see Jins file.

    Kittuh August 14, 2025 2:39 am

Bro I find that halo of domination concept soooo fucking cool! Like it can even wrap around the goddamn planet?!

And it brings me back to the flashback in chapter 9 where the Sunnyside kids were doing Halloween and Tehir and Jin talked. At the end of the flashback, Tehir felt shocked and dominated by Jin, despite having that halo of domination. I guess Jin just has that top dog in him to be able to establish dominance even against the halo's prowess. I'm really intrigued by that dynamic, even though I know Jin probably didn't like Tehir because he was fake or acted above everyone, so there's probably nothing interesting that could come from it.

And damn, Tehir is like a whole lot of things, with his genes, his halo, his brain being altered, him initially being set to be executed, him losing function of his body... then became delusional and a rapist. He just lives to be fucked over and fucked up.

The information about the halo changing size based on the ego of who has the power made me realize we haven't actually seen Tehir's halo since he became an adult.

But as a child it was constantly on his head. Did Tehir's self worth fall so low that he lost it? Like you can't be both insecure and control the halo of domination since its power hinges on his ego?

Yeah, Tehir definitely lost his self worth and/or self love so he doesn't have the halo and it's power anymore. I wonder then how much influence the halo had on everybody around Tehir when they were younger, and whether that changes how he interacts with others now that he doesn't have the halo.

Whats crazy is that Jin was 100% correct lol. He read Tehir like a book and understood him way better than Kimoto ever could.

Jin said Tehir was attracted to people he felt were stronger than him, that moment Jin laughed at him and Tehir felt "dominated" must be when he got his crush on Jin. I have no idea where the dynamic with these three is going but I 100% feel like Kimoto and Tehir are not a good couple.

I also still have a strong feeling that OG Jin will make a reappearance in some way. I wonder what will trigger that, another head injury?

Yup. The new Jin makes up for that as he's very sociable and sweet, but lacks everything og Jin was.

It almost makes me wonder if this new personality wasn't something intentionally created by og Jin to make up for his own flaws. After all, he had a shard made of blood stabbed into his head when he fell, and only Jin himself could've done that.

This whole "Garon falling for the rapist" thing better only be a comic relief bit. If the author tries to turn him into a real character and give him a partner instead of letting Jin kill his bitchass I'm gonna lose it.

That fucker needs to die in the worst way possible

This chapter gave us some very interesting information and solidified a few things.

First off, the doctor is clearly an important character. Many of us were theorizing that he might not have been honest about Guwon killing his family do to how absurd it would be for a supposedly loving father to accept and follow his wife and children's murderer. But I think he wasn't lying, instead he simply withheld his motives for doing so and he may have followed Guwon for the sole purpose of avenging his family but ran into trouble as soon as he seen how the town worked.

Especially with his attempts at telling people about Guwon in the past going poorly. The person who "went directly to Guwon" to confront him was most likely killed by the hounds for stepping out of line.

The hounds are now confirmed to be an oppressive force to the town civilians, and that will most likely negatively impact Teach in the future because of his close connection to Guwon. Who, is growing increasingly obsessed with teach. Worshippers rarely appreciate changes in their idols, especially if Guwon becomes less violent as a result of interacting with Jinwoo.

As for the situation with teach's dad: we all know Jinwoo is an unreliable narrator so all we can go off of are the panels themselves. And, where the body was laying + its clothes make it look like Jinwoo's dad was the same person Guwon murdered in the beginning of the series when he found Jinwoo. It's position, place in the room in comparison to where Jinwoo was laying, and the fact that there's no other corpses anywhere. But, there was also another person in the beginning chapters, someone screaming for help because "they had been robbed" but you don't see them, just the sound of them suddenly dying. I wonder if that person could have any significance here?

Guwon showing up at the end was also... weird. There's two possibilities: One, Guwon tailed them and watched them the whole way or two, Guwon went to teach's house ahead of time in order to tamper with or move things.
