Teach obviously killed his own dad. I think his dad attacked him first though since the image of the guy holding the bat is his dad.
But after he witnessed Guwon murdering someone, his brain is filling those memories with him instead so that Teach doesn't need to face the trauma of what happened.
But, Guwon smiled and brushed off Teach's question like he just did with the kids which is heightening his paranoia. Either way, it looks like we'll finally be getting some scenes away from the town. I suspect that Guwon won't want to take Jinwoo, but will give in eventually and something bad will happen while they're out.
Could also be how we get introduced to all the "hounds" if he goes with them on one of their regular trips.
GREEN BITCH DIE DIE DIE DIE
Also, where there are machines, there are people who design them right? I wonder if there's a human mastermind behind the daycare experiment who needed to create strong people for something in particular? But it never came to fruition/was canceled or failed because no one ever came for them
You guys are letting your affection for Guwon cloud your judgement lol. (Relatable)
I agree with Jinwoo that the medicine rules are unreasonable. Restricting medicine use itself makes sense, it should be reserved for emergencies. The issue is, that regular town people aren't allowed to use any AT ALL even if a life is at risk. Valuing the lives of the hounds over everyone else is nonsensical.
Yes, they go out and do dangerous stuff by retrieving supplies. But everyone contributes important work, that's why they're allowed to stay there. And quite frankly, it's much harder to find a replacement for a DOCTOR or something equivalent than it is to find another person to do physical labor.
This chapter also made it obvious to me that Guwon had probably been questioning himself for a while. Feeling isolated and not knowing if he was actually doing the right thing. He craved an equal and someone to actually talk to. And Jinwoo is the only person he's managed to connect with. But, their relationship has changed because Guwon isn't the person teach thought he was. And Guwon doesn't realize anything is different.
He's gonna try to have sex with teach next chapter and get rejected, and teach is gonna keep avoiding him. I predict a mild crash out from Guwon, perhaps some obsessive tendencies.

People are a bit too black and white about Guwons character I think. It's either "He's done nothing wrong, killing happens when you're in an apocalypse." Or "Guwon is a black flag that's been manipulating Teach this whole time. He's evil."
When we first see Guwon he's waking up from the rubble in the middle of an apocalypse, and we watch him walk until he discovers the fancy house he lives in now. Guwon has NO memories of anything previous to waking up and crawling out of that rubble. He even said himself that he felt like everything was already decided before he woke up, and he was destined to protect that town.
At this point, theorizing that Guwon's personality is fake and he's manipulating everyone is silly. It's clear that his black and white thinking, and lack of experience are genuine. As well as his affection for teach. And no, he didn't fake being a virgin. You can't fake prematurely ejaculating and a nosebleed lol.
I'm not saying that doc is straight up lying, but we definitely don't have the full picture when it comes to the situation in town. And I think "the hounds" are a major part of that.
Guwon deadass doesn't realize murder is wrong. And he's surrounded by people that are either too scared to tell him he's wrong or are directly benefiting from his violence without needing to do anything difficult themselves. Guwon is driven by a strange sense of responsibility, and is moving towards his goals without any understanding of the world/what it means to be human or genuine connection to the people around him. And THAT is what makes teach so important.
Everything about teach is new, and exciting. There's now a person willing to look Guwon in the eye when they talk, to stroke his hair when he did something good and hug him. Laugh with him, tell him about the world and teach him all the things he didn't know. I think Jinwoo's role in the story is literally going to be to TEACH the "monster" how to be a person again.
Maybe I'm overthinking it, but if everything the doctor said is true then doesn't that make the circumstances in which Guwon rescued Teach seem even more weird?
He wouldn't allow an accountant or her kids because they weren't useful. But then decided to bring in a teacher for a group of children..? Maybe Guwon would make an exception for kids born in the town, but they still didn't need Teach because the kids were already being well-educated and scored extremely high on the tests Jinwoo gave them. So why did Guwon bring teach in?
Is Jinwoo's face card so good that it saved him from death? Guwon treats him like a puppy too

Taeha is kinda disappointing me rn. At first he seemed like a mysterious but confident and sweet guy. But even knowing haesoo has been cheated on, has abandonment issues and is deeply insecure he's trying to get her jealous just to satisfy his own ego. Just to feel like she wants him. Now the only reason he's staying the night with her is to let mincheol catch them sleeping together.
Taeha feels deeply insecure. He doesn't want Haesoo to heal, he just wants her to latch onto him instead of Mincheol.
Oh dear, the towns people are gonna start relying on Jinwoo to change/manage Guwon's behavior. I feel so bad for him, he's gonna be under so much pressure :(

So, I still think there's more layers to this. It's clear that Guwon is capable of an obscene amount of violence and he's strong as shit but his lack of knowledge about things and innocent personality are real. He also doesn't have memories of how the world worked before the apocalypse.
Guwon is the leader, but he's easy to manipulate and that feels weird. Because there's no way the town people didn't notice those things, or the fact that he can't even read but NONE of them taught him anything? Even the children were being properly educated.
What if the hounds are intentionally using Guwons strength and lack of knowledge to use him as a weapon against the normal townspeople, and position themselves at the top of the hierarchy and hoard supplies for themselves?
Guwon even said that he never realized how much knowledge he lacked, and teach was the only one to help him learn anything.
People in the comments thinking there's nothing wrong with slowly and painfully beating a father to death because he tried to save his child's life... Stay away from me bro, ya'll would be the first to turn to cannibalism if you were stranded LMAO.
Just because you're going through difficult times doesn't mean you have to act like an animal. All lives are equal, and allowing a child to die because one of the adults collecting supplies might need that medicine at some point is fucking evil. Also, punishments should MATCH THE CRIME.
Well, we all seen that coming. But hey, now we know who the "hounds of sisyphus" are. They're the team that leaves with Guwon to search for supplies, and apparently, the highest in the towns hierarchy.
Kinda fucked up, they'd let a child die because one of the hounds *might* need that medicine later. And they executed him in such a slow and brutal way, the sentence far outways the crime. Teach was right to be disgusted, next chapter is gonna be their breakup arc. Which, I have a feeling won't go over so well as Guwon is now extremely attached to Jinwoo and sees him as a life mate. Jinwoo may even want to leave, but I don't think he'd be able to.
The children will most likely be put in Teach's care now that their guardian is dead. The kids are gonna be teach's chain to the town.
