That literally sounds like this one manga I read, something like “nozaki-kun” I don’t really know man
iirc the story was about this guy whos into occultic and tries to summon a demon, he gets sent to hell and serves the demon he summoned. he starts obsessing about him and tries all things to be stronger as him so he can be with him but eventually the demon killed himself (by saying his name bc apparenly saying a demons name stronger than you kills you).
