Even if Dan decides to walk away from everything, let’s not forget how he gets money for his granny’s treatment. Like he doesn’t have a choice but to cling to him. Dan’s in a really tight spot. He doesn’t even have a house to come home to. The only choice he has is to stay with him and do his job like what JK wants him to do minus the feelings (w/c tbh was the original setup).
