Never seen imprinting before, just marking where they bite the back of the neck— but I think I understand it.
Marking: You are mine.
Imprinting: I am yours.
I like this. Way more consensual than marking where you give yourself to the other person rather than taking them as yours and they can’t be with anyone else.
