Seven's Favorite

I’m one of those people who doesn’t completely hate the ML for some reason (although I don’t like him either and don’t think that his trauma justifies him causing trauma toh is wife), but a lot of y’all pro-ML folks go into very misogynistic territories by blaming The FL (The Fucking Victim in the story) to defend the ML, and I find that pretty disgusting. Yes, the FL is also flawed (held some preconceptions and did not know him that well) and she’s realising that and learning- but literally no one said that she was perfect. But the ML is not just uwu flawed- his behaviour is Toxic and is directly a part of the reason for her Traumas. I completely sympathise with his traumatic past and the inferiority complex his class and race create for him in this relationship, but that still doesn’t negate that a big chunk of his behaviour- including him refusing to communicate with/talk to her the 100th time she comes to him out and dismissing her opinions without discussing further/explaining why- is ruining the relationship and her mental health. Your trauma may make us sympathise with you, but it doesn’t excuse the trauma you cause to others. And I think blaming the FL for being “””imperfect””” when she has put more effort in directly communicating with him and is at the receiving end of his toxic behaviour is a horrid thing to do.
